The questions you are asked
What we ask about the people attending, who can see the answers, and how to change them.
What you are asked
Depending on what you are booking, we may ask about dietary requirements, an injury or medical condition, an emergency contact, or whether you are happy to be photographed. The questions differ from one booking to the next.
If you are booking for other people, you are asked about each of them separately.
When you are asked
When you book, or at the point you accept an agreement. A required question has to be answered before that booking completes; the rest can be left blank.
If somebody else booked your place, the questions come to you in the link they send. We can also record your answers at the session itself.
Who can see your answers
Only Butterfly Yoga and their staff can see this. Your answers sit beside your name on the list of who is attending.
If you answered through a link because somebody else booked your place, Butterfly Yoga and their staff can see this, and so can whoever booked your place. They hold the record of your place until you claim it.
Change or remove an answer
- Open the Details tab of your account.
- Find Collected personal information.
- Edit the answer, or clear the box to remove it. Everyone whose bookings you look after is listed here too.
- Select Save.
The form confirms what was saved, and says how many answers were removed. If you have no account with us, ask us and we will change it for you.
How long answers are kept
Butterfly Yoga keeps this for as long as you have a record with them, and it is erased when that record is. Your answers are attached to your record, so removing the record removes them with it.
Why we ask
We ask for what we need to run the session you have booked. Our privacy notice sets out what we collect and how we use it, on the Policies & agreements page. If a question is not clear, ask us.
Answers about a child
Whoever is responsible for them answers. The answers belong to the child’s record, so they follow the child and stay in place if a different adult books them. The adult who gave them can change them from the Details tab of their own account.
