Privacy notice — Butterfly Yoga Last updated: 4 August 2026 Butterfly Yoga ("we", "us") provides small group and individual yoga sessions in Wellington. This notice explains what personal information we collect about you, why we collect it, and how we look after it. WHAT WE COLLECT - Your name, email address and phone number, when you register or book. - Your booking and attendance history. - Payment records for the things you buy from us. Card numbers are handled by our payment provider and are never stored by us or our booking site. - Records of any agreement you accept through our site (such as a waiver or our terms): the version you accepted, your typed name, and when and where you accepted it. HOW WE COLLECT IT Directly from you — when you register, book or pay on our booking site, or when you give it to us in person. WHY WE COLLECT IT - To manage your bookings and run our sessions. - To take payment. - To contact you about your bookings — confirmations, reminders and changes. - To keep records of agreements you have accepted. - To send you news and offers if you have opted in — you can unsubscribe at any time. WHO WE SHARE IT WITH We use a booking platform to run our site. It stores and processes your information on our behalf and under our instructions, and does not use it for its own purposes. The platform uses service providers for hosting, email delivery and payment processing; some of these store information outside New Zealand, with comparable protections in place. We do not sell your personal information. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT We keep your information while you have a relationship with us and only as long as we need it afterwards, then delete it. One exception: if you accepted an agreement through our site (such as a waiver), we keep the record of that acceptance — the version you accepted, your typed name and when — as a legal record, even if you ask us to delete your other information, because it may be needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
