Butterfly Yoga Terms and Conditions By booking a class, pass, course, or gift card with Butterfly Yoga ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to these terms. Please read them before you book. 1. Bookings and payment • All classes must be booked and paid for in advance through our booking system. • Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST where applicable. • Payment is processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store your full card details. • Your place in a class is confirmed only once payment is received. 2. Cancellations and changes by you Individual class cancelations • Cancelations must be made via our booking system. We do not accept cancelations made by email, phone or text. • You may cancel a booking up to 12 hours before the class start time and receive your class payment or pass credit back. • Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class, and no-shows, forfeit the class payment or pass credit. • Late arrivals may be refused entry for safety reasons and to avoid disrupting the class. No credit or refund applies in this case. Courses • Sessions missed by participants are not refunded or transferable. • Course enrolments cover the whole series. • Courses are priced per course and the price covers every session in the series. • Please ensure you are available for the full course before booking. 3. Cancellations and changes by us Individual Classes • We may occasionally cancel, reschedule, or substitute the teacher for a class — for example, due to illness or injury. • If we cancel a class, you'll receive your class payment or pass credit back. Courses • If one or more sessions of a course are cancelled, the course will be extended so you never lose a session. • Dependent on availability of the community space and teachers, we may need to negotiate the extension dates, but where possible the course will be extended without a gap or delay in dates 4. Multi class passes • Class passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and are non-transferable. • Unused credits expire at the end of the validity period and are not refundable for change of mind. • We may agree to suspend a pass for a genuine medical reason upon written request. 6. Gift cards • Gift cards are bearer instruments — whoever holds the code may redeem it. Please treat a gift card like cash. We cannot replace lost, stolen, or shared codes. • Gift cards do not expire. • Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or reloaded. 7. Refunds • We do not offer refunds for change of mind on classes, passes, courses, or gift cards. • Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. 8. Health and safety • Before your first class you must complete our waiver and health declaration. You participate at your own risk and are responsible for working within your limits. • You must tell your teacher of any injury, condition, pregnancy, or medication that may affect your practice, and of any change before each class. 9. Class conduct • Please arrive a few minutes early, silence your phone, and follow the teacher's instructions and any rules of the community space in which classes are being delivered. • We may refuse entry to, or ask to leave, anyone behaving unsafely, disruptively, or disrespectfully towards others. No refund applies in these circumstances. • Personal belongings are brought to class at your own risk. 11. Privacy • We handle your personal information, including any health information, in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 2020. • Butterfly Yoga respects your personal information and will not sell it at any time to any person/business. • All information sourced is for our business use only. 13. Changes to these terms We may update these terms from time to time. Where a change is material, we'll notify you and, where required, ask you to re-accept before your next booking. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. 14. Governing law These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and the New Zealand courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
