Booking

Booking for other people

Booking a place for a friend, your children, or a group.

Book a place for someone else

  1. Select Book on the session you want. If you already hold a place in it, the button reads Book someone else.
  2. Open Booking for someone else, or bringing people? on the checkout screen.
  3. Enter a first name and last name for each person. Their email address is optional.
  4. Answer Are you responsible for them? for each person.
  5. Select Add another person for each further place.
  6. Pay for the booking.

You pay once for every place. The first place is yours unless you change it. Each place is recorded against the person attending it, and appears on your Bookings tab with their name against it.

Are you responsible for them?

Yes — I'm their parent or guardian — you can accept agreements on their behalf, and you manage their bookings. This is the answer for a child.

No — they're a guest — you book the place and pay for it, and they accept any agreement themselves. See Agreements & policies.

If you do not have their email address

Leave it blank and the place is booked. Their confirmation and reminder come to you instead, and anything they need to sign is dealt with in person.

Add the address the next time you book for them and they receive their own emails from that point. Everything already booked for them stays as it is.

Book for someone you have booked before

  1. Open the checkout screen for the session.
  2. Open Booking for someone else, or bringing people?.
  3. Choose them from Someone you’ve booked before.

The place attaches to the same person, so their history stays in one record. Their answer to Are you responsible for them? is shown and can be changed here.

Two people with the same name

Tick to confirm they are different people and continue.

The same email address against two places is stopped before payment. Correct the addresses and continue.

What the people you book receive

Anyone with their own email address receives their own confirmation and reminder, and can manage their place once they create an account with that address.

For anyone without one, you receive one message covering every person you are responsible for.

Paying for other people

A card payment covers every place in the booking. Your pass credits can pay for other people’s places as well as your own. A membership pays for your own place only.

Where we offer a lower price for a first visit, it goes to the person attending. One booking can use a limited number of first-visit prices; any places beyond that are at the standard price, and the checkout screen shows this before you pay.

Cancel a place you booked for someone

  1. Open the Bookings tab of your account.
  2. Find the place, listed with the name of the person it is for.
  3. Select Cancel, then Cancel booking to confirm.

Any refund or returned credit comes back to you. A first-visit price the place used is released back to the person who was attending. Cancellation notice applies as it does to your own places — see Booking a session.

Booking several sessions

One booking covers one session, with as many people as you name. Book each session separately. For a larger group, send us a message and we will arrange it with you.
