Booking a term

Open terms, choose one, and press Book the term. Choose who is coming, then pay by card or from your gift balance. Your place is booked in every session, and we email you every date.

When you’re booking just yourself and your gift balance doesn’t cover the whole price, turn on Apply gift balance. Your balance pays what it can and your card pays the rest.

If we accept passes for the term, checkout shows the credits you hold on them, added together. It uses one credit for every session still to come, for each person you’re booking, and there is nothing to pay. If you don’t hold enough, checkout says how many it needs.

Until the first session has finished you can book the whole term, even if you arrive late to it. After that, some terms can’t be booked; the page says so. Others can, and you pay only for the sessions still to come — the price on the page is the price for what is left. Either way, you can book its sessions one at a time from the schedule.

Each session of a term can also be booked on its own from the schedule, at its single price or with a pass or membership we accept for it.

On your Bookings tab, the term shows as one entry with every date beneath it.

1. On your Bookings tab, find the date under the term.
2. Press Cancel.
3. Press Cancel booking.

The place goes to someone else, and your other dates stay booked. A cancelled date isn’t refunded, because the term was bought as a whole. Depending on how much notice you give and our own policy, we may make it up to you — ask us. You can cancel a date up to 2 hours before it starts.

We either add a replacement session and book you into it, or refund your share of the price for that session. We email you to say which. A refund goes back the way you paid: to your gift balance first, then to your card, and a pass credit goes back to your pass.

We may move one of the sessions, add one or take one out. If we add one, your place on it is booked at no extra charge. If we take one out, we may refund your share of the price for it. Your Bookings tab always shows the sessions as they stand, and a session we took out shows as removed.
